Rational Service Plan

There are two service plans available for Rational ovens both designed to keep your catering equipment in good working order. The Rational Standard and Rational Plus Service Plan are both recommended by the manufacturer and are carried out on working units. The servicing and repairs we carry out are only on electrical ovens.

Rational Service Plans

There are two service plans available for Rational ovens both designed to keep your catering equipment in good working order. The Rational Standard and Rational Plus Service Plan are both recommended by the manufacturer and are carried out on working units. The servicing and repairs we carry out are only on electrical ovens.

A specialist Marren engineer will undertake a comprehensive service. Included is a written report of his findings and details of any future actions you need to take or advisory areas. 

A choice of service plans

The annual service is a thorough 51-point service check on every aspect of your equipment. This will include diagnostic, control compartment and door checks as well as testing. The whole process lasts between 1 and 2 hours but can be scheduled to suit your business needs. Built into the Rational Plus Service Plan, are several parts susceptible to damage through wear and tear, these are automatically replaced annually.

Choosing the right service plan for your needs will depend on the type of model you have and the level of servicing you need. You can choose from a range of plans.

Rational CM101

Proactive maintenance for all your catering equipment

In the hospitality sector, it’s always better to plan rather than react to a situation. Which is why Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) is integral to the service we offer all our clients. An annual service plan for all your working commercial units and ovens.

The parts are serviced regularly and replacements made when needed. This serves to improve the reliability of your equipment. Reducing the risk of a breakdown which will save you time and reduce staff stress levels due to customer complaints.

Safety is another factor. Equipment that is functioning below capacity is slow and can be dangerous. The components are designed to be fully operational during busy periods but over time the efficiency will decrease. Ongoing servicing and fixes will mean you are less likely to suffer a defect which can become a health hazard.

Planned Preventive Maintenance is a proactive service activity that works around your business. Which means you can plan your activities around our engineers being on-site. The work carried out will reduce the risk of equipment being out of action during busy periods and extend the lifespan.

Servicing as part of your operational process

Any business that uses commercial catering equipment will benefit from taking out a Planned Preventive Maintenance package. As part of the process, a large amount of information is gathered about the age, condition and cook count of your ovens. It’s a good indication for when you need to invest in new replacement equipment. A traffic light system of red, green and amber is used to grade the condition which makes it even easier to understand.
