The Workhouse is set in the heart of Brixworth village, serving brunches, lunches and sweet treats to the local community. It started as a smaller takeaway at a site located in the village just a small walk away from where the café is today. Serving the needs of the community for just over a decade, the café was opened about 18 months ago.

On offer are all sorts of homemade cakes that are made on the premises and fully trained barrister staff that provide a delicious selection of coffees and hot chocolates. Serving brunches and breakfasts, they offer anything from a full English breakfast to a toastie or a healthy bowl of salad.

Catering for a wide range of people they are focused on taking into account the needs of all their customers. Happy to cater for parties or anyone just walking home on the school run who just wants a quick bit of cake.

Providing a reliable, consistent service

Reliability for The Workhouse is key to what they offer. Being in the catering industry they have between 70 to 80 covers every lunchtime, which means speed is of the essence.

So making sure all the equipment is 100% reliable during service to provide food and drink will ensure their customers keep coming back time and again. Without a good reliable oven system, customers would choose not to return in the future and without that, there is no business.
